Day 1 week 3

Wow! I don't believe that I'm 2 weeks away from traveling to space, my training had started 2 weeks ago, for it takes you 1 month of training before you can really go! Believe me, its very hard work! I feel that I am not in a good enough shape to go to space, yet! I'm actually vey exicted, but I feel that the only probelm with space is the cost of getting there! It's mainly expensive, because of the vehicles neede to visit space. So when we want to travel to space we actually need reusable launch vehicles. The good thing is now space-tourism for "normal people" is available. Market research has shown us that the idea of space traveling is very popular. But this idea is not that popular to those who think that space traveling is only for research and military matters. Now I find it kind of weird too, that some people who actually aren't real astronauts traveling to space, for fun!

Next 2 days

Today training was well, kind of fun. I experienced weightlessness for about 25-30 seconds. I have lots of cool facts, spacetourism is known as "space joyrides for the rich". A man named sir Richard Branson said that it will cost about 100,000 euros to go on a virgin spaceliner. These companies have done lots of reasearch and have found out that thousands and thousands of people are showing very strong interest in buying these tickets. Now space tourism industry is officially open and tickets are going from $20 mill for 1 week in space. Russia made Dennis Tito the first space tourist,on a russian-made rocket. Then on september 18,2006 Anousheh Anasari was the 1st women as a space tourist. It was in 1997,that NASA devepoped a reusable launch vehicle. The company ZERO-G offered zero gravity rides at $3000 per person. Each day I have to swim in the swimming pool back and forth so I can be fit . Then i go to the gym to exercise. When you want to go to space you have to be very fit! Then i also go underwater to train. It will help you more with pressure that you will experience in space!
,i'll keep you updated,Elaine,post a comment ,thanx :p

The day before my trip!

I felt all this training was worth it, because going to space will be a once in a lifetime experience fo me. When training I got so many facts about space-tourism from my trainer. I even heared about a space-tourism menu!:
Lunar tourism:
The deep space expedition, each involving sending 2 people around the moon. Most companies are offering $100 million and above.
Orbital Tourism:
3 tourist so far have ridden the SOYUZ spacecraft, and more are wanting to do it,it will cost about $20m

Subortital tourism:
A space ship will fly 100 km or higher and will give you about 5 mins of weightlessness, you can see a view of a curvature of earth and a dark star-filled sky. Prices start from $100k to $200k

High altitude jet flights:
Ride in a height of 25 to 36 km. Ticket prices cost $24k

Weightlessness:
Experience weightlessness for 25-30 secs. Tickets currently cost $3750.

and guess what Sir Richard Branson is also thinking of putting a hotel in space!

The day has come! what a beautiful experience!

Oops I forgot to tell you! I'm going on Lunar tourism (check the menu) so I'm actually going to see the moon!!!
What happened:
I was in the space shuttle, all nervous, my hands were sweating. Atlast, all i have trained for is happening. I'm exicted, yet very nervous ! Then it was blast off! we were flying through the atmosphere full speed, it was kind of like a roller coaster, but a little more exicting! After a few hours we reached the moon! It was a once of a life time experience. The sky (not really) was very dark and full of stars and there stood the moon, all bright! I guess all my hardwork really did pay off!
